AS-NEEDED, ONE-TIME OR EMERGENCY OFFERINGS

Pay-as-you-go sessions are great for younger students planning ahead. They are also a perfect fit for older students who could use minimal help or have a specific task with which they need assistance - or even those who need to pivot after learning a decision!

Strategy and planning sessions provide families with an opportunity to ask questions about the admissions process and receive expert guidance. Our other pay-as-you-go work sessions involve college essay and application assistance, as well as help with other parts of the admissions process: interviews, resumes, summer program applications, and more!

Strategy and Planning SessionS

HS CLASS OF 2023-2028, PROSPECTIVE TRANSFERS, PROSPECTIVE GRADUATE STUDENTS

Looking for something less structured? We have a few options for families who plan to navigate the admissions process on their own, yet would benefit from some extra guidance.

Need immediate admissions help or want to try out a session? Students and parents will submit records in advance for review, and the 60-120 minute meeting will entail a comprehensive strategic analysis and formulation of an appropriate action plan. Families are encouraged to bring a list of questions to ensure maximum productivity.

For younger students, the idea of meeting with a college admissions consultant as a young teenager may seem overwhelming, or even silly. However, this type of meeting is actually one of the most valuable parts of the process. No, we are not putting together a college list in 8th, 9th, or even 10th grade. Instead, we are laying the groundwork for a successful and strategic high school experience to maximize options and make the right decisions from the outset.

Typical discussion topics for older high school students, prospective transfers, and prospective graduate students include the formulation of an appropriate list, testing timelines, and early application deadline strategies.

Typical discussion topics for middle school and younger high school students will include course selection, standardized test planning, summer experiences, extracurricular activities, and leadership positions, as well as the mitigation of mistakes that may have already occurred.

Fees: $350-2000
